No School uniform

 In room 11 we have been doing some writing on no school uniform. Here is mine.

No School Uniform

 

I strongly agree that having no school uniform Is better than having a school uniform. Here are some reasons.

School uniforms are so uncomfortable to wear. It is so itchy on us kids that we have to itch everywhere. When we are supposed to play we don’t have much time because we itch and itch lots of times on ourselves.

When we go out we itch everywhere and people laugh at us because people say it looks really weird and funny because sometimes your t-shirt goes up.School uniform looks ugly on us.

You can wear what you want if we don't have a School uniform, like if you have to get changed after school you are already in normal clothes you won't need to get changed.

If your mum and dad don't have enough money to buy a the School uniform then you can’t get one, or you have to try and find a second hand one. When you go to school you will look different to all of the other kids and they'll laugh and the teacher’s will tell you off and be angry at you. But if we have no school uniform you can wear your normal clothes to school and not get told off and then you will look the same to all of the other kids.

It is so smelly to wear and sweating. School uniforms smell if you wear your uniform all week for school. If you wear it all week it starts to get really smelly and none of the kids will wanna play with you because you smell. If you wash your uniform it will not dry in time for school and then you will have to put it on and it will be really wet on you and people at school will think that you have peed your pants it would be so embarrassing. When we are wearing our school uniform 

                                       Conclusion

                      I hope that you agree with me that no 

                  school uniform is better than having one.

Harley

 This is my kitten Harley he is 8 months old he is really cuddly and soft but if you look into his eyes you will see the naughtiness in him every night he goes outside and has fights last week we saw him limping very weird he wouldn't even go outside we gave him some medicine and he only ate chicken and then we gave him some water but he was drinking it really weird. so we took him to the vet and he was going to be staying overnight because he had to have surgery but luckily they got it all stitched up and all that was ok to go home he had stitches and it was kind of hard for him to walk he's not allowed to go outside he is all fine now so we are going to let him out for an hour or so each day until Friday because that's when he has to go to the vet and get stitches out hope you like the story about him.

The police Super cat 

The New Zealand police force made a new super cat which is super trained so they have a new secret weapon in their against crime.

Arnold is his name he has been announce as their new specialist search cat.

Arnold got shared on facebook by the police this week so far it has more then 1 million views and 16,000 comments.

A police spokeperson has been training so hard with Arnold that he can even jump through hoops.

The police loved him so much that the police is going to Post each week about him on Facebook.

My narrative

Ding a ling a ling the school bell rings. In class today not many people were there. It was very weird.  My best friend was there, Annalise and Alysha are bff. 

When the bell rang the class went to sit on the mat. Miss Clifford did the roll and the notices then she told us what to do for our writing. Annalise and Alysha went on the spinning chairs to do their writing. Miss Clifford told Annalise to go find some cardboard. She said it is in the classroom somewhere. So I looked everywhere. The only place I haven't looked is the top cupboards. We are not allowed to look in there but i did. “You won't believe what I found” said Annalise “I FOUND!!!!!! AN old dirty mirror” said Annalise very loudly. Miss Clifford turned around and said don't touch that mirror but Annalise touched the Magic Mirror and got sucked into the roblox game. But Alysha wanted to be with me so she touched the Magic Mirror and Alysha transported in the exact same place I did. Then we looked and we found a note “Hi look who i have found you need  to complete this game and it is don't be crushed by a speeding wall to get out of the roblox game but it needs to be done by 3AM From GM(game master)”.

Annalise and Alysha were scared and nervous that they wouldn't complete the game by 3AM, but they looked at each other and believed that they could do it. They took a deep breath and started walking toward the speeding wall which seemed to be coming toward them really fast. Annalise and Alysha knew they only had 20 seconds to get to the door so they ran as fast as they could, Alysha made it to the door first and got through and Annalise made it through just as the red light started to go off. They now have three more doors to get through but they were confident that they could make it through as they get back to class. They made it through the last door just as the clock turned to 2.59AM “phew just in time” Annalise and Alysha were happy to get back to class.

On your mark get set BANG! He was underwater and he ran as fast as he could. There was a lot to look at but he could not get distracted! His number was 42 and he had short hair,long legs with flippers on. He was very fast but his flippers keep making him be slow. He had to jump over hurdles. But the problem was that his muscles in his legs were hurting. Will he win?

Today I am telling you how to get from the Hornby Primary School to the Hornby Hub.

Directions to the Hornby hub

We start at Hornby primary school and we go to the Hornby hub.

Steps  Go out of the school gate on Waterloo Rd.   Turn left and go straight until you get to Carmen rd.  Turn right and go straight onto Chalmers st. Turn left and go straight until you see the H\ub Hornby.  You are there now.

Heat it up instructions

In reading we have been making instructions.

How to heat water
1.Two cups the same size  2. One black paper 3. One white paper 4.Water 5.thermometer 6.Tape 7. Measuring jug
Steps  Put black paper on one of the cups and the do the same with the white paper. Fill your cup up with the same amount of water. Measure the water temperature of both and write down. Put both in the sun for 2 hours. Near each other. After 2 hours take the temperature of both and record.

Hot chocolate recipe

We had a class party and we made some hot chocolate.

    

How to make a hot chocolate
Materials/Ingredients Milo                     Spoon Milk                      Towel Marshmallows Microwave Mug
Steps   1. Fill your mug with a ½ of your milk  2. Put your mug in the microwave for one minute  3. Take it out of the microwave with a Towel 4. Put 2 teaspoons of the milo in your mug  5. Sir it all until you can't see any more of the Milo on top 6. Put two marshmallows in your mug  7. Finally drink it :)

My describing writing

In writing we have been describing a alien spacesship or a treehouse.

I am out walking with my friend Alysha. We always go on this walk. Today there was an alien spaceship right there.

On the outside it is a big round circle. There are not many windows. It is nice and modern on the outside. The door was open and me and Alysha run inside. 

The inside is not that modern but there were heaps of windows and more buttons than the outside.

There was only one room and that was the main room. There are heaps of plans and that is where they sleep. 

I could not see many seats, some buttons and one lever. There was another spaceship connected to our one. When we look outside we could see the stars  and it was  really dark

Annalise the present

 Last week Chaikaylah and I were playing Fortnite. Chaikaylah was on call with me. Chaikaylah was playing at her home and I was playing at my home. It was both of our favourite game. We love it!

I was having fun with Chaikaylah, and mum walked in the door and she had a boring old box in her hand and it was disgusting. I got this feeling like “What is in the disgusting box, let's open it.” Then mum opened the curtains and it let in the bright shining light which made my eyes twitch.

I opened the box and an adorable puppy jumped out. I thought the dog had four legs but it didn't. It had three legs. I threw the dog on the floor because I did not like the dog. I felt disgusted by the dog and annoyed by my mum. I was in an amazing game and mum ruined the game with Chaikaylah.

The puppy saw the ball under the table and he fetched the ball and brought it to me. I pushed the dog away in disgust. The dog stumbled back at me and wanted me to throw the ball. I had this weird feeling about the dog then the feeling just came to me and a light bulb went off in my head and I decided then I loved the dog.

I got the ball and went outside and had fun with the dog. I think mum got me the dog because I had one leg too and the dog has one missing too. 

                             The End

Duffy Theatre Writing

On Monday Duffy Theatre came to Hornby primary school. When everyone was sitting down. Duffy was funny and then we sang this song and it was the Duffy song we did in English and sign language. They have a sound effects trolley. It was where they did all of their sounds for the show.

 They started the show. Duffy went and put on his gumboots. Firstly, Duffy milks the cow Molly. Molly was very sad because Duffy kept hurting her. Scruffy was always washing  her hands because she is scared of germs because of Corona. She was like a thunderstorm. Scruffy said Oh no what if Aunty towels has the coronavirus on it. I need to wash my hands again.

Duffy was learning online. Duffy got his ipad and went on the call with his teacher. The teacher did not know how to use technology. She was on mute the whole time she did not know but Duffy told her. Duffy’s classmate is being silly with names.Duffy faked wifi problems to avoid work so he didn’t have to listen to the teacher. 

Duffy has to stay back at aunty's home while aunty and Scruffy go and do farm work. The teacher set up a book. Duffy did not like the book that the teacher sent.The book that she sent was a book about teaspoons. Duffy went on the call again and Scruffy was being silly on Snapchat then Scruffy was being silly behind Duffy at class time on a call . Duffy loses his temper he was really angry. Duffy throws the tablets away. Chloe the pig broke the tablets in the farm.

Aunty called mum and Aunty gave the phone to Duffy and said sorry mum I lost my temper and threw the tablets away mum was ok and she said you go help Aunty do work on the farm and you might get a new tablet. Duffy asks mum to send him a new book. Duffy got his book and Scruffy found  it and she hand sanitised  and it was foggy and it was slippery.

Duffy goes for a big walk. Duffy falls in a black hole. He finds bones in a dark hole. Bess,the chicken, was in the hole with Duffy. Then Scruffy was worried about Duffy and she was trying to find him. They found him and they pulled him  out with a rope and tractor. 

                                        It was very fun but not as cool as last year one. 

                                                             The End

This is when duffy was on call with the teacher.
