We have been learning to write recounts in the style of a newspaper reporter.
I am a student in the Uru Mānuka Cluster. I am a Year 5 and my teacher is Ms Clifford. This is a place where I will share my learning. Please note that some of it will not be complete, it will be my first drafts. Remember to be positive, thoughtful and helpful when you leave me a comment.

To support my learning I ask you to comment as follows:
1. Something positive - Begin with a greeting. Talk about something you like about what I have shared.
2. Thoughtful - A comment that will mean something to me to let me know you read/watched or listened to what I had to say. - use any language.
3. Something helpful - Give me some ideas for next time or ask me a question.
Encourage me to make another post!

ReplyDeleteSorry Annalise.
ReplyDeleteI deleted the first comment I left because there was an error at the end.
What I liked about your article Annalise was the introduction. You used strong words that encouraged me to want to read more.I liked that you also explained how the villagers knew that the lighthouse was broken.
What did you enjoy most about this type of writing?.
Have a wonderful holiday.
